We created the first ever K-8 Islamic school in Texas. Throughout difficult times we have managed to always keep an Islamic studies Quranic based program for the next generation. Today’s curriculum is developed for the Masjid Al-Islam, Educational Children’s Academy or M.E.C.A.
In the effort of rebuilding the Mosques of Mota and rehabilitate the business of the Muslims, Dallas Tx. Bilal community raise fund and send more than $83,000 USD to the Mota fund projects. Just this past Ramdan the sisters of the Bilal community of Dallas TX collected donations to support needy Muslims in Ethiopia. Our Beacon of Light Community Outreach program has assisted more than 26,000 persons every year. Our Day of Dignity event helps the most under served neighbors in economically challenged areas of South Dallas. it has been recognized by the City of Dallas, and our work has earned numerous awards.
